Virginity Matters

Description

The message “Virginity Matters” was manifest on the first of this year 2019 and is crucial to me, along with the 2 works that followed, “Integrity Matters” and “Jesus Matters”, in putting forth messages of positivity.

I feel the spirit moved me to create “Virginity Matters” to send a message to females especially, though males included, to address the cruciality of the female body’s sexual preservation, as well as the power they bring as entities alone without being sexually activated.

In my opinion their presence alone is so powerful, yet so disrespected and goes so truly unappreciated that it leads to a feeling of their own lack of self esteem, self respect and self worth.  I feel a compelling need in the world for female empowerment and individuality, as opposed to females being devalued yet prostituted at the same time starting at the youngest of ages in their homes with the education from their parents moving on into the school systems where the disrespect continues as peer pressure and competitiveness for acceptance and or popularity become an issue.

“Virginity Matters” is acknowledging the incredible power and invaluable worth of female sexuality.  I feel females should be taught levels of self worth where self respect is a given and true freedom of their choices and self expression are promoted and can flourish.   They should be taught  how to keep and or govern their power without feeling devalued for that specific beauty and pressured into giving it away cavalierly.

This is a limited edition of 150 signed prints, available in two sizes: 11” x 14” ($159) and 16” x 20” ($179).
